What Is It?
A special and unique part of Costa Rica
The Golden Corridor is special and unique as it presents the ability to live among the jungle, while having the services of a modern world at your fingertips. The remote, rare and pristine location provides an element of surprise, and expected natural propositions that cannot be replaced, described or found anywhere else.
"A VISION TO SUSTAIN THE BEAUTY AND COMMUNITY, YET, ALLOW OTHERS TO VISIT AND VIEW ONE OF THE MOST PEACEFUL AREAS IN COSTA RICA."
The Golden Corridor of Costa Rica is the area that is south of the Rio Savegre crossing going south and just north of Palmar Norte on the southern end of this strip of Costa Rica as if meets the western coast line of the Pacific Ocean. This area is defined by the presence of the vast jungles and Valleys behind the ridges of these mountains as they converge into the Ocean along the western coast line.

The Golden Corridor
Asphalt on Highway 34
The gateway opened once the average traveler could access the zone via highway. A trip from San José to Dominical used to take north of 10 hours, due to crossing rivers, railroads, driving on railroad tracks and dangerous terrain. Now, smooth roads test law-abiding citizens as it becomes easy to speed. The same drive will now only take you 3 hours.
It's no secret... Costa Rica earns many trophies for its wildlife, beauty, people, and tranquil atmosphere. One out of five tourists return to Costa Rica. Out of those, the average visitation is over eight times!
Friendly boarders, pura vida (pure life) living, and the feeling you get when you're here is mind blowing.
At this point anyone familiar with real estate, traveling through Costa Rica, will be anxious to buy property for development, or personal use... matter fact, you'll see a lot of signs "Se Vende" (For Sale) making you believe the entire country is for sale. But wait, there's a catch, right.
Costa Rica is very protective when it comes to development. The pristine jungles, and water supply doesn't allow for developing dense areas - like ants on a Cheeto. And with a backyard like Costa Rica's, there is no wonder. Con Amor fully embraces this mindset and protective habitat to maintain the country's beauty. It allows our team to build sacred communities with restraints, yet, a touch of visionary exploration.
The hardening of rules and regulations is limiting the entry of developers, and the thought after dense jungle developments are sparse.
The Golden Corridor was named by Con Amor to express the area in which the jungle meets the ocean. It's the heart of Costa Rica!
